The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) actively took part in the 2025 Education Conference, which was thoughtfully organised by the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja. The conference revolved around the important theme, “Global Compact on Education: Reviving Our Commitment to the Younger Generation,” highlighting the need to renew dedication and focus on educating young people for a better future.

Hosted by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Abuja, the Most Reverend Ignatius A. Kaigama, the NDPC was proudly represented at the conference by its dedicated Head of Innovation, Mrs Adaobi Nwankwo. This significant event brought together a diverse group of administrators, educators, and policymakers from various Catholic schools across Abuja. It offered a valuable platform to engage in meaningful discussions focused on renewing and strengthening educational values while also addressing the numerous challenges that young learners face in today’s increasingly digital and data-driven environment. The gathering aimed to foster collaborative approaches to enhance the quality of education in line with modern technological advancements.
